17th Annual Global Science Summit & Gala is November 8-9, 2024 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.

The Weekend Schedule at a Glance

All events below are open to registered guests( unless otherwise noted), take place at the hotel, and free except for the Gala. Registration is required for the community event and the Gala.

• Thursday

  • 8:00am-6:00pm: Translational Research Symposium (TRS) / Angelman Syndrome Biomarker and Outcome Measure Consortium (A-BOM)

    • For researchers, clinicians and industry; by invite only.

  • 5:30pm-6:30pm: A President's Welcome Happy Hour

• Friday

  • 6:30am-7:15am: A group workout led by FAST Athletes

  • 8:30am-5:45pm: Global Science Summit, focus on Translational Research

  • 6:00pm-8:00pm: Community Event at the Aqua Zone

• Saturday

  • 6:30am-7:15am: A group run led by FAST Athletes

  • 8:30am-1:00pm: Global Science Summit, focus on Clinical Trials

  • 6:00pm-7:00pm: Cocktail Reception (21+, ticketed event)

  • 7:00pm-12:00am: FAST Gala (21+, ticketed event)

International Guests

If you live outside of the United States and will need a visa to travel to the US, please consider applying now. If you would like FAST to write you a letter of invitation for you to enclose with your visa application, we are happy to do so. To request a letter of invitation, please email events@cureangelman.org and provide the full names of the people in your family who will attend.
