With International Angelman Day (IAD) around the corner, it’s a great time to unveil our first #WarriorWednesday of 2024 – Kristina, mother to Evan who lives with AS, from Upstate New York!
Kristina maintained strength through a difficult 2023 going through so much with her son Evan, but she continues to shine and do whatever it takes to ensure he is happy and healthy.
A community member noted that, “She is a remarkable person with more strength than she knows.” Kristina is a humble parent stating, “Evan and all people living with Angelman syndrome are the real warriors with all they have to deal with on a daily basis!”
We know this journey is tough, and we are proud of you for showcasing resilience through a challenging year!
