Warrior Wednesday: Owen Currington

It takes a lot of skills and hard work for someone living with AS to communicate with an AAC device. So to hear Owen has been working hard with his AAC device and recently asked his teacher for a drink with his device is amazing. He’s also been using his “more” and “want” signs regularly! Not only for Owen, but also his caregivers, this is a powerful skill and may allow him much more independence.

"We are so proud of Owen and he surprises us everyday with how smart he is." - Dayne and Katie.

Thank you Dayne and Katie for working hard to give Owen a voice!
