Warrior Wednesday: Kayleigh

This week’s Warrior Wednesday is taking big steps in the new year! Meet Kayleigh from Austin, TX.

In elementary school, Kayleigh took a significant fall which led to a broken nose and then two years later, she struggled with some orthopedic issues, resulting in losing her skill of walking. With her perseverance and courage to start walking again, Kayleigh kicked off 2023 by taking independent steps for the first time in 8 years! It took many hours of intensive therapy to regain her strength and confidence to take those independent steps. Adversity causes some to break, but not you, Kayleigh - we applaud you overcoming your fear and getting back on your feet.
