Warrior Wednesday: Ellie

Ellie from New York is our Warrior Wednesday this week!

Skills like the pincer grasp, pointing to a picture with finger isolation, and grabbing items like a fork to eat can be challenging for some individuals living with Angelman syndrome. Ellie has been working hard on using her fork and has recently made great progress!

Her parents, Lauren and Joe, said, “Every day is a fresh opportunity to learn something new and exciting.”

Ellie surprises them daily with her ability to overcome. She is walking and even uses some words and signs! She is remarkable and so is her spirit. She lights up the room and brightens everyone’s day wherever she goes.

Keep up the good work, Ellie - you’re doing great!
