FAST invited by the FDA to join advocacy-based panel discussion

On Monday, June 24, 2024, FAST was part of an advocacy-based panel to talk about the importance of digital health technologies in measuring outcomes that are important to patients. In particular, the discussion focused on connecting tools to what is meaningful to families because some developers of digital devices haven’t partnered with advocates to truly know if their device measures a symptom that families care about.

Our work at FAST with digital health technology partners to conduct research in the community allows us to understand how digital tools can in fact measure symptoms that are important to families, in a home-based setting.

This is so important to help lessen the burden of clinic visits.
