On Saturday Sept 21st, the Poerios hosted their first annual Friends of James Oktoberfest in Chatham, New Jersey. Over 150 people helped them kick off Oktoberfest by participating in a plethora of kid-friendly games and a magic show for the kids; a cornhole tournament and putting contest for adults; as well as a food and ice cream truck for all.
Previously, the Poerios hosted a successful golf-outing, but this year’s family-focused event raised over $54,000! The foundation plans to support AS organizations including FAST and other local initiatives focused on supporting individuals living with special needs.
