CAN Spotlight: Bike for Briar’s MEGA Meat Raffle

The MEGA Meat Raffle was a MEGA success! Emily and Craig Planton, along with their extraordinary volunteers, raised over $11,000 to support Bike for Briar, a 4200-mile bike ride from Anacortes, Washington to Bar Harbor, Maine taking place next summer. This challenging ride will be in honor of Briar’s grandfather, John Nuck, whose passion for curing Angelman syndrome inspired his friends to take action in his memory. The goal of the bike ride is to raise $50,000 in support of FAST and the META Meat Raffle contributed to that goal. Special thanks to Spanky’s in Waterford, Wisconsin for hosting the event and to Allison Planton for going above and beyond to make the day such a big success. We look forward to sharing more about Bike for Briar next summer!
