The Ripple Effect

My name is Alex McFee; I am a senior at Western Michigan University and am an active member of my sorority Sigma Kappa. Each year for Greek Week the fraternities and sororities at my school choose one member from each chapter to represent them. This year, I was chosen and one of my responsibilities was to pick a foundation to raise money for.
I chose FAST because of my mother’s friendship with Nicole Leitz. Nicole and her husband have two children and one of them has Angelman Syndrome, her name is Macy. For the past few years my mother has done nothing but bring up stories about Macy that have touched my heart and because of that I was hoping to attempt to make a difference in her life and the lives of others.
With this letter, you will find checks for donations to your foundation. There were also 4 people who donated online in honor of me for Greek Week.
In total, my sorority raised $892.33. I hope this money has the potential to do great things in your foundation.
Have a wonderful week and thank you for all you do for these children!
Sincerely,
Alex McFee
