CAN Spotlight: Remi Cup

Dr. Derek Matheson is a member of our FAST Family Council bringing his medical background and fundraising energy to support the FAST mission. Two years ago, Derek and his wife, Chrysti, started Remi’s Drive for a Cure Foundation to help bring awareness and funds to support FAST.

Last month, they hosted their 2nd annual Remi Cup Golf Tournament at Cherokee Hills Golf Course located in Tulsa, Oklahoma in honor of their daughter, Remi, who lives with AS. The event attracted 90 golfers who participated in a scramble tournament, bid at the silent auction, and enjoyed a beautiful day on the course to support their foundation. This event raised $30,000 for FAST! Thank you to the Mathesons and the Tulsa area residents for dreaming big with Remi and the Angelman syndrome community.
