Annual Parent Meeting of the Angelman Verein and FAST Germany

We are thrilled to share the incredible success of the annual parent meeting of the Angelman Verein e.V.and FAST Germany. Congratulations to the entire board for the impeccable organization and a special thanks to Holger Müller (president of the Angelman Verrein e.V.) and Evelin Dietrich (president of FAST Germany) for inviting FAST HQ. The event was truly special, with 240 attendees, including 55 individuals with Angelman syndrome and 36 siblings.

Seeing so many individuals living with Angelman syndrome gathered in one place was heartwarming 💙.

Ellen Koekoeckx, Global Advisor for FAST, attended the meeting to represent FAST Headquarters and present the Angelman Syndrome Therapeutic Landscape & FAST's Roadmap to a Cure 2.0. She stated that witnessing such an engaged and joyful community was incredibly inspiring.

We are also excited to announce that the Angelman Verein and FAST Germany received a generous donation of €750,000 from a private donor. This substantial contribution will allow them to fund crucial research projects aimed at finding life-changing therapeutics for Angelman syndrome.

Being part of such a joyful and dedicated community reinforced our commitment to our mission. We couldn't be happier that Germany has joined our global efforts. Together, we are making significant strides toward a brighter future for our loved ones.
