Dr. Anderson is a clinician scientist in the field of pediatric epilepsy. She is a Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics, Neurology, and Neurosciences at Baylor College of Medicine. She is an active clinician in pediatric epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology and serves as Medical Director of Clinical Neurophysiology at TCH. She is also a principal investigator in the Gordon and Mary Cain Pediatric Neurology Research Foundation Laboratories at TCH in the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute. Her clinical work in pediatric epilepsy drives the research questions and translational studies. In particular, she sees patients in the outpatient Angelman Syndrome Clinic and also as inpatients and in the research lab is involved in translational studies involving models of Angelman syndrome.
